Since founding Aki Sushi in 2005, Claude Guay, president and founder, has transformed his passion for Asian culture and gastronomy into a true sushi empire in Quebec. Passionate about gastronomy and particularly sushi, he is determined to democratize this culinary art in Quebec. At the time, only a few restaurants offered sushi, often at high prices, making this dish difficult to access.
Aki Sushi is the first grocery store restaurant-counter making its fresh sushi accessible to everyone every day. As a 100% Quebec and independent company, Aki Sushi directly controls the supply of its ingredients. Claude regularly visits his suppliers to ensure that the ingredients come from sustainable and responsible sources.
